Good morning.... We are on time this week!!!! We had a great week and weekend. The band practiced on Friday night. It was good getting together and playing some music. As Bob put it, we had a good groove going. We worked on a few belly rubbers and a few that you can shake your booty too. We are getting ready for the shows coming up. Speaking of shoes coming up. The show that we have on March 24 at the Masons in Geneva is now open to everyone. The cost is $10.00 a couple. This includes dinner for two, softdrinks and coffee. They will not serving liquor at the event. If you would like some tickets please let one of the band members know. Saturday I had to make a a trip to Erie Pa to hire a contractor for the new office. It looks like everything is going good for the new office opening. When we got back to Ashtabula we had dinner with some good friends. Sunday was a nice and easy day. All I did was watch TV and listen to some music. Also since I posted last week so late. I need to say thank you again to the Swiss Chalet for booking us again for this summer. We always enjoy playing down at the Lake during the summer months. Speaking of summer, we are suppose to have nice weather all week and it is going to be in the 50's for a couple of days. Get out and take a nice walk.
I have had a few people call us and send us emails asking why we haven't been playing? The band together decided to take Jan and Feb off, so we can take some vacation time and get some work done. We love playing music and we love playing for all of you. Sometimes we need to take a little time off. All of us have very demanding jobs that take up a lot of time. There are a few bands that never play in Jan or Feb, because of the weather. We do have bookings, we are getting new bookings. We will be out and playing again starting in March. When you have a band. You always have to work around jobs and vacations. We really enjoy what we do and no there is no deeper reason for us not playing. I know that there are people out there saying there is. Please do not listen to people that know nothing about us...I want to thank everyone for the calls and emails. Also thank you letting me know what people are saying. As my father always said as long as they are talking about us, they are leaving some else alone.
